Your accommodation sleeps five guests and is well placed for adventures, whether you are tempted by the former Victorian seaside resort of Silloth 10 miles away, or lured by the notoriously challenging Hadrian s Wall Walk from Bowness on Solway 6.5 miles away. The whole family will appreciate a visit to Carlisle 15 miles. Vibrant and brimming with potential for a day trip, Carlisle has something to offer culture vultures, historians and foodies of all ages. Laid out in a reverse level style with contemporary decor and a neutral colour palette, the property is comfortable and inviting throughout. Step inside the ground floor to find the bedrooms and the family bathroom with bath with shower over. The first bedroom is a double with a TV, storage, seating and patio doors leading out to a shared courtyard. The room also has an en suite shower room with a WC. Next, the smaller bedroom is a twin bedroom with two single beds. Climb the stairs and enter the open plan living space on the first floor, a delightful room with laminated flooring, beamed ceilings and large windows. There is a Juliet balcony with impressive countryside views in the lounge area, which also features sofas, a Smart TV and DVD. The dining table has seating for four in the centre of the room, and the spacious kitchen at the rear is equipped with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and a fridge/freezer. Outside, there is a shared courtyard accessed via the double bedroom, but you ll also have use of your own private patio towards the rear of the property. Surrounded by a paddock that s home to two friendly Shetland ponies, AppleJack and Dinky, it is a pleasant setting for al fresco meals. There is a shed for bike storage, and off road parking for two cars is available on the shared courtyard.
