Within a short stroll guests will find the surviving buildings of the old Benedictine Abbey, namely the 15th century Abbey Guesthouse and the Abbot’s Porch. Guests can also visit the famous Cerne Abbas Giant or the local brewery, and enjoy many pretty countryside walks.
Nearby are numerous quaint villages including Minterne with its house and gardens, and the county town of Dorchester is just a 15 minute drive away and offers a large selection of museums, attractions, shops and restaurants. The Jurassic Coast is a pleasant 30 minute drive away with opportunities for swimming, paddle boarding and fossil collecting.
The well-appointed cottage has plenty of space to relax in with an open plan kitchen and dining room, a ground floor family/tv room, and a comfortable dual aspect first floor sitting room. Also on the first floor you will find the three spacious bedrooms, the family bathroom, and separate cloakroom. The property also benefits from a ground floor shower room and utility area.
The cottage garden has a large terrace with garden furniture, the perfect spot for enjoying alfresco dining; in addition there is a lawn area surrounded with plants and shrubs.
