Nicely appointed throughout, the lodge provides a lovely base and comfortable accommodation for friends or families. Full of charm and character with exposed beams, slate floors and exposed stone work; this lovely cottage offers a warm welcome and spacious accommodation. The open plan split-level sitting room has a wonderful accent feature wall with fireplace and warming electric wood-burning effect stove, whilst the raised dining area with polished slate floor is great for family meals. A well-equipped kitchen caters for all your needs and the stable door opens to a private patio with seating and a raised lawned garden. Two bedrooms are located on the ground floor and serviced by a family bathroom and a further two bedrooms are upstairs and share the use of a shower room. The Hunting Lodge is a great base for exploring the area, whether you want just a short break or longer, this cottage is an ideal base anytime of the year. There are a number of great activities outside of Talhenbont, however, including a one and a half mile stretch of river which provides excellent walks and safe areas for children to play or paddle. This river has also been made a designated habitat for otters and offers salmon and sea trout fishing. In addition the area offers castles, beaches, golf courses and the Snowdonia National Park.
