The market town of Bala is nearby, renowned as a centre for great water-sports including fishing, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing and white water rafting. The town itself is steeped in history and has a range of interesting shops, inns, restaurants and an historical Town Walk. Surrounded by the wonderful Berwyn mountain range, this is a mecca for walking, cycling and other outdoor activities.
