Formerly a sweet shop (hence the name), the cottage has a cheerful and relaxed feel about it, and makes a very comfortable and agreeable base for exploring the quiet lanes, pretty villages and nearby coast. The sitting room has the benefit of a wood burning stove for the cooler months and the spacious kitchen is perfect for entertaining with a good-sized table and well-equipped cupboards. Upstairs two stylish and comfortable bedrooms, with a king and a double bed, ensure you can relax and enjoy your time here. There's a pretty enclosed garden running down to the stream for sun downers in the summer, where the village ducks may well pop in for a visit, with ducklings on tow in the springtime! South Creake is well known for the lovely large village green with ducks loitering around the stream. There's a play area, sports field, excellent village pub and miles of quiet walks or cycles from your doorstep. Burnham Market, with its array of independent shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants is just a five minute drive away, and the coast just five minutes beyond that.
