Venture a little further from this attractive home, and you will find wonderful sandy beaches, rock climbing, horse riding and pony trekking centres and for the big shoppers amongst you there is Bridgend, with its outlet centre, and Cardiff. There is plenty of local history to discover with the nearby ruins of Ogmore Castle and the National Trust properties of Duffryn House and Tredagar House as well as Saint Fagans National Museum of Wales.
