Oakworth 1.5 miles. This charming, stone-built terraced cottage, is situated in a residential area just over a mile from Oakworth and three miles from Haworth. The cottage offers comfortable accommodation and is an ideal touring base for those looking to visit Bronte Country and the Yorkshire Dales. On the ground floor guests will find a warm and cosy sitting room and a well-equipped kitchen with dining area, boasting uninterrupted views to the rear across the valley. Upstairs, two inviting bedrooms are on offer, as well as a family bathroom. Outside, there is an attractive front garden, as well as a patio at the rear, perfect for an evening drink as you enjoy the view and plan your day ahead. The surrounding area abounds with scenic walks; a short drive allows visitors to follow the footsteps of Cathy and Heathcliff across the rugged, heather-dressed moors. A ten minute drive brings you to Haworth, a beautifully atmospheric old town, with its famous literary history, making it a superb spot to go for a day out, to visit the quaint shops and enjoy its choice of pubs and restaurants. Be sure to visit Skipton, with its cobbled streets and castle, offering access to the Yorkshire Dales, whilst the Victorian spa town of Harrogate boasts fabulous shops, an excellent theatre and the fantastic Royal Pump Room Museum.
