The well-equipped kitchen with breakfast area, leads into a spacious dining area and comfortable seating area, perfect for enjoying a lovely evening meal together before relaxing in front of the TV. Outside, you can sit in the garden to relax in the evening sun after a day of exploring the nearby countryside and beaches, whilst the patio is an ideal spot for dining alfresco or to enjoy a barbecue. Just a short walk away is the local village shop and pubs. Cilgerran sits on the escapement of a gorge, through which the River Teifi runs. Cardigan is home to the fabulous Welsh Wildlife Centre, with a fabulous mix of wildlife habitats and a café that takes in the vista whatever the weather. The River Teifi offers great opportunities for fishing, canoeing or simply just taking in the scenery including the ruins of the Cardigan Castle. You are ideally situated to make the most of the fabulous coastline for Cardigan Bay, which is peppered with intimate fishing villages alongside craggy coves and sandy beaches. Alternatively, a fifteen minute drive brings you the northern edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, with beautiful coastline and the stunning Preselli Hills, source of the famous bluestone. The area offers numerous outdoor activities such as dolphin and wildlife spotting boat trips, canoeing, coasteering, river and sea fishing, as well as being surrounded by great cycle trails and the extensive Wales Coast Path, stretching out in both directions. Close to fabulous nature reserves, beautiful beaches and harbour side towns and villages, this lovely holiday home is perfect for exploring the area, yet being able to retreat and spend time together in spacious and comfortable accommodation.

Cilgerran is a delightful village with three pubs and a village store near to the popular market town of Cardigan. Situated above the Teifi Gorge, there are walks down to the river and the two castles; the National Trust’s Cilgerran Castle and the romantic ruins of the 13th century castle. Within walking distance are The Welsh Wildlife Centre and Teifi March Nature Reserve, providing fabulous trails along the stunning River Teifi and the chance to explore a rich variety of habitats and enjoy relaxing by the river. Nearby is the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Preselli Hills and the stunning coastline of Cardigan Bay.
