There are three spacious bedrooms on the first floor, each with its own TV and attractive en-suite bathroom. Downstairs the well-equipped kitchen has its own comfortable seating and dining areas with TV and opens out onto the spacious sitting room with cosy woodburning stove and an additional dining area. Outside there is a rear patio, perfect for sitting back and relaxing after a day’s sightseeing. There is also space in the carport for storing muddy boots after a day spent walking. The village of Forden is ideally located a couple of miles from Welshpool, perfect for visiting the renowned Powis Castle and gardens. Why not take a ride on the Welshpool and Llanfair railway, try your hand at a round of golf or simply enjoying a stroll or leisurely cycle ride alongside the Montgomery Canal? The historic market town of Montgomery is a pleasant place to explore with its mixture of timber-framed houses, Georgian and Victorian architecture and 13th century hilltop castle. Discover the secrets of winemaking at the award-winning Kerry Vineyard or take a stroll in the beautiful Glansevern Hall Gardens and along the canal to the picturesque black and white village of Berriew, just short drives away. If you fancy a change of scenery, the coastal town of Aberystwyth is around 50 miles away. Forden is a small village situated between Welshpool and Montgomery. It is close to the border with Shropshire and to the Offa's Dyke footpath and is within sight of Long Mountain. The village has a local pub, the Railway Inn.
