A well-presented lodge set on a working dairy farm on the ownersÂ’ farmland in the hamlet of Pentridge, 3.3 miles from Sixpenny Handley, within the dark skies reserve of Cranborne Chase area of outstanding natural beauty. The lodge is just 12 miles from the Gothic Cathedral city of Salisbury which boasts the tallest spire in England and is situated on the edge of Martin Down National Nature Reserve which is known for its rare flowers and butterflies as well as the Jubilee Trail which crosses from border to border across Dorset. Set in a countryside area with plenty of things to do, this luxury lodge makes a great place for a family or a get together with friends. There are two spacious bedrooms in the lodge, both furnished to a high standard, one with en-suite facilities as well as a family bathroom. From the hallway is an open plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar, as well as a good-size extendable dining table, making a great place to socialise whilst the cook prepares some home-cooked meals. There are plenty of comfy sofas to relax on in front of the fire after a busy day exploring the area. Leading from the sitting area are patio doors, which take you to the decking which has plenty of furniture and a hot tub. There is plenty of open farmland and countryside for the kids to let off some steam, whilst you sip something cold whilst enjoying the bubbles of the hot tub. From the lodge there are plenty of stunning footpaths, bridleways and cross-country cycling to enjoy around the hamlet of Pentridge. A 7 minute drive takes you to the village of Sixpenny Handley which has a good selection of shops and pubs to visit. This area is close to the New Forest National Park, which is famous for the wild ponies. For a good day out, take a visit to Larmer Tree Festival, a music and arts festival set in beautiful Victorian gardens in the heart of the Cranborne Chase or take a trip to the world famous Great Dorset Steam Fair only 8 miles away. Further afield takes you to Stonehenge or even a visit to the stunning Jurassic coast and great shopping in Bournemouth and Poole.
