There are six steps down to the front door of this property from where you enter into the large well-equipped kitchen which has a table and chairs. From here you enter through into the comfortable beamed sitting room where you can relax and through a further door, you have the dining room. There is also a shower, basin and WC on this ground floor. Up the stairs are two double bedrooms and one family room with a single bed and adult bunk. All bedrooms have sloping ceilings and beams which all add to the character of the property. A bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and WC, again with characterful sloping ceilings, completes the accommodation. Outside there is a patio with furniture where you can relax with a refreshing drink and listen to the stream that trickles nearby, whilst planning your next day’s activities. The cottage is surrounded by stunning countryside and some of Europe’s best mountain bike trails. There are also many beaches at nearby Aberdovey, Tywyn and Barmouth, which all have watersports. For a more leisurely day why not visit the pretty market town of Dolgellau with its selection of shops, pubs and restaurants?

The picturesque village of Abergynolwyn is situated in the beautiful Dysynni Valley within the Snowdonia National Park. Abergynolwyn makes a great base for a holiday and has something to offer everyone. Local attractions are numerous and include superb walking and cycling, fishing on the beautiful Tal-y-Llyn Lake and the famous Tal-y-Llyn Railway - an historic narrow-gauge steam railway with trains running from Tywyn (on the coast) to Abergynolwyn and Nant Gwernol.
