This unique oak framed wooden shepherd’s hut is situated in its’ own one acre park, accessed via a re-enforced road, which is suitable to drive on in all weathers, next door to the owner’s smallholding comprising of working horses, pygmy goats, rare breed sheep, ducks, chickens and geese. This lovely air conditioned hut boasts fantastic views in wonderful countryside, less than 4 miles from the town of St Asaph in North Wales, the smallest city in the UK. This tranquil setting is ideal for a couple looking for a romantic break away or a couple of friends or family members to enjoy a get together. The hut can be accessed by either three steps or the combined ramp and decking leading up into the property. Inside there is a feature Victorian, cast-iron comfortable double bed. Two comfy rocking chairs sit in front of a recessed fireplace housing a small woodburning stove which provides a warm ‘cosy cottage’ atmosphere. A well-equipped kitchen, dining table and folding chairs are also provided. Inside the hut, a separate wet room with extra facilities of grab rails to help is also provided. The seating area looks out over the countryside towards the Clwydian Range, providing an excellent place to enjoy a morning coffee whilst sat at the table and chairs provided. The one acre paddock backs onto the owners duck pond, pygmy goat and horse paddock. There is an additional paddock at the bottom of the park, should you wish to bring your own horse or pony. A fenced area houses the park’s rare breed of sheep and a newly planted orchard sits in the centre. There are many walks from the doorstep with river walks not far away where you may see kingfishers, sparrow hawks and buzzards. St Asaph offers numerous amenities and activities, from traditional pubs, to gastronomic dining experiences, numerous craft and gift shops and local clubs offering horse riding, angling, and crown green bowling. Further afield are the town of Denbigh and the coastal town of Rhyl in North Wales. The Snowdonia National Park is a short drive, with its stunning lakes, mountains, walking and cycling, while the Llyn Peninsula and excellent beaches on the Isle of Anglesey are ideal for a day trip.
