Lanreath is a village in southeast Cornwall, five miles west of Looe. Lanreath has a local shop and Post Office, a small museum, the Lanreath Farm and Folk Museum, as well as a parish church. Nearby Pelynt is home to a parish church, a number of local shops and pubs, especially the Jubilee Inn, which was an original farmhouse which dates back to the 16th Century. Looe is Cornwalls second largest fishing port and hence there is always a lively maritime bustle around the quay area of East Looe, which is connected to the quieter West Looe by a seven arched 19th century bridge over the River Looe.
