This tranquil setting is ideal for a couple looking for a romantic break away with fantastic views to enjoy. On entering the cottage you arrive in the hallway, leading to an open plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, making a great social space to prepare and enjoy some home-cooked meals or alternatively you can take a three minute walk to the local pub for meals. Upstairs there is a well-presented king-size double bedroom with its’ own en-suite bathroom. To the outside is a pretty garden area with a lovely patio and raised decked area with furniture, making a lovely place to sit and relax with a glass of something chilled or some alfresco dining. A short drive will take you to the village of Pateley Bridge with its range of traditional pubs, restaurants and gift shops. Enjoy the floral displays that Pateley bridge is famous for. There are plenty of walking opportunities to enjoy along the Nidderdale Way or even Brimham Rocks and Fountains Abbey. Cyclists can enjoy revisiting the 2014 Tour de France route or the Tour de Yorkshire 2017 route, which passed nearby or explore the quieter roads of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The picturesque village of Grassington is within driving distance as are the towns of Skipton and Harrogate. Whatever you decide to do, this is a wonderful cottage in a well-located area to enjoy at any time of the year.
Pateley Bridge is a Dales town nestled in the steep-sided valley of the River Nidd. Little alleys and yards off the steep main street house many interesting shops offering a wide range of gifts and mementos, plenty of places to eat and drink, two award-winning butchers, a fishmongers, a bakery and the oldest sweet shop in England. Up and downstream, the Nidd Valley offers excellent opportunities for walking, cycling and birdwatching.
