You enter the property into the well-equipped kitchen which also has a table for informal dining. Go through the door into the impressive living area, with its high glass roof and windows overlooking the gardens to the hills beyond. In here you will find comfy sofas and a dining table and chairs making it an ideal room for relaxing after a family meal. Along the corridor are three en-suite double bedrooms, all with wonderful views. Note: This cottage has a connecting door to Top Spot next door which can be unlocked to provide spacious accommodation for 12 guests. This property can be booked with the two adjacent properties Refs 957496 and 957500 in the Victorian Gardens and together they sleep 18. Cressbrook is located on the River Wye and its focal point is the mill, which was built in 1779. Follow the footpath upstream of Cressbrook Mill to Water-cum-Jolly, which is superb for rock climbers, birdwatchers and walkers. North of the mill lies the lane to Ravensdale, which is adjacent to Cressbrook Dale, a gorge-like limestone dale with numerous crags and the remains of several lead mines. Cressbrook Dale is a National Nature Reserve renowned for its range of rare flowers.
