A delightful, quirky semi detached cottage situated within the village of Feock, moments from the beach and serene waters of Fal River Estuary and just 4.5 miles from the city of Truro. Quintessentially vintage, there is so much character within this cottage, with traditional beams, low ceilings and sash windows. Enter into the dining room, which features an oil fired Rayburn, keeping the cottage cosy in winter, the snug sitting room has an open fire, to warm your toes and the well equipped kitchen is at the back of the property. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, comprising of one king size double which faces the front garden, one twin and a split level children's twin room. The mature garden at the front of the cottage is perfect for breakfast alfresco or simply relaxing with a good book. A short stroll with fabulous views along the way, will take you Loe beach where there is a watersports centre so you can hire Kayaks or paddleboards to enjoy the water, you can paddle round to the infamous 13th century Pandora Inn which sits on the edge of the water. The King Harry ferry is close by, take a trip over to St Mawes and some smaller villages along this part of coast. The Carrick Roads also have a superb network of ferries linking Truro, Falmouth, St Mawes and some smaller villages so leave the car behind and travel by boat. There is lots to see and do for all ages.
The quintessential village, Feock is on the Carrick Roads part of the Fal estuary. In the centre of the village is the church of St Feoca which dates back to the 12th century. On the edge of Feock is the estate of one of the more stately homes in the area, Trelissick owned by the National Trust, here there are landscaped gardens where you can while your day away looking at the array of plants and flowers, 500 acres of parkland and riverside woods overlooking the River Fal for you to enjoy. The city of Truro is just 5 miles from Feock, where there are lots of shops, restaurants, markets, galleries and so much more.
